The Beginner’s Pistol Course is designed to build upon the foundations of pistol handling covered in our Foundational Pistol course, ensuring that each participant progresses confidently. Here, you’ll expand your skills through carefully structured lessons that introduce new techniques to help you become a more accurate, efficient shooter. We’ll cover basic decision-making processes for real world application and introduce movement drills and single-hand operation, allowing you to handle your pistol in a wider range of circumstances.
 
Our experienced instructors foster a safe, positive learning environment where safety and skill development go hand-in-hand with enjoyment and personal achievement. This course is ideal for beginners who want a solid and practical understanding of defensive shooting, emphasizing combat readiness and practical skills to strengthen your confidence. Refresher of things taught in the Foundational Pistol Course
Controlled Pair vs. Double Tap
Basic Movement techniques
When and how to conduct a reload and the different types
Single hand fire
Best practices for utilizing a holster

WHAT TO BRING:
A reliable pistol you are comfortable with
At least 300 rounds of ammunition
At least 2 magazines and pockets or magazine holster to hold one
Eye & Ear protection MANDATORY (I do possess extra)
A sturdy belt and holster (for your particular weapon)
Closedtoe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
A meal (depending on time of day)
